The Nelsons and Sons
Mr. & Mrs. Albert and Judy Nelson have served Rutherford and adjoining counties in ministry for over 20 years. Mr. Nelson is a Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Preneed Counselor, Public Notary, and presently serving as the treasurer of the Tennessee Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (TFDMA) and a member of the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (NFDMA). Mr. Nelson has also been the minister of Sand Hill Church of Christ in La Vergne, TN since 1992. Celebrating over 30 years of marriage, Mr. Nelson and his wife (Judy), a non-licensed staff member, are the proud parents of four boys: Demetrius (Shounika), Detrick (Sherrill), Brandon (Kim) and Deron and five grandchildren: Andrew, Alexis, Aiden, Kaylib and Bradyn non licensed staff members.
In 2008, the family introduced a New Firm to the community, where their goal is to financially and mentally relieve your family during your time of sorrow. Mr. Nelson believes God takes care of him through obedience to His word. And as a family, the Nelson’s strive to help other families in the community in their time of need. Their mission statement is “Our Family Caring For Your Family.”
