Terri Lynne Mossé was born August 28, 1950 to David McWhirter Jr. and Eleanor Carlow McWhirter in Los Angeles, California. She passed away peacefully in the care of The Arbors at Azalea Court in Smyrna, Tennessee on May 11, 2026.

Terri graduated from UCLA in 1979 with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts. She was a well educated and creative person who split her time between her two passions, raising her children and teaching art at the elementary, high school, and college level. In her free time, she specialized in painting oil on canvas, favoring the landscapes and buildings of the American Southwest and Mexico.

She leaves behind a legacy of art and family, including her two children Cayce Mossé and Danielle Mossé; daughter-in-law Mary Mossé and grandson Ian Mossé, and her sister Susanne Solig. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Eleanor McWhirter, her husband Craig Mossé, and her brother David McWhirter III. She will be missed and forever loved.
