Robert Demetrius Mintlow, was born June 18, 1966, to the late Nelson Akins and Maybell Gregory Mintlow, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He departed his life on March 27, 2024.

Robert worked at Fifth Saks for three years and loved his Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Marable, David Mintlow, Nelson Akins Jr., Linda Akins and Joe Henry Akins.

Robert Demetrius Mintlow leaves to cherish his children, Danny Wayne Collier and Robert Jamal Mintlow; one grandchild, Jerzey Avent; a very devoted friend, Yashica Benford; sisters, Mary Mintlow, Melisa Mintlow, Mai Akins, Delores Akins and Donna Akins; brothers, Tom Akins, Ben Lee Akins and William Akins; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
