The beloved Arlesia Ridley-Hill, 51, was born on December 22, 1970, in Nashville, TN to Allen and Andrea Ridley. She ascended from this life on October 17, 2022.

Arlesia graduated from Smyrna High School, where she was the dance team captain and a pillar amongst her peers. She went on after high school to pursue her passion for journalism. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 18, she let nothing stop her from living the life of her dreams, writing a book about her endeavors, she inspired many. She also loved being around children and animals, which lead her to volunteer in the community and open an in-home daycare that brought her a lifetime of fulfillment and joy.

Arlesia loved God, her family, football, music, and poetry.

She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Ridley, her grandparents, Alonzo and Lillie Mae Stallworth and her husband, James Hill.

Arlesia leaves behind a slew of family and friends who were blessed to love her, just a few include: her children, Maya and Roman Hill; mother, Andrea Ridley; brother, Allen Ridley; sister Deborah Willis; aunts, Sandra (Richard) Stewart, Wanda (Rick) Zackery and Evetta (Alden) Holt; uncles, Buford Eubanks and Marcus Ridley; six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
