Our family is deeply saddened by the death of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Regina Lynn Wellington Venzen on January 3, 2022.
Regina Venzen was born on February 19, 1970, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the proud parents of Addie and Houston Wellington, Jr. Regina was educated in the Rutherford County School system and graduated from Riverdale High School. She received her Nursing Degree from Motlow State Community College. She began her nursing career at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center and later pursued a career in Real Estate in Spotsylvania, Virginia. Regina was a very outgoing and loving person who lived life to the fullest.
Regina met her loving husband, Rupert “Johnny” Venzen in 1999. They had 23 years of adventures with their four children: Joshua, Kiyah, Kaitlyn, and Kristina. She relished being a mother, her children can attest to the fact that she had “the Patience of a Saint”, and never lost her temper with them or even raised her voice. She was always supportive and encouraging, always wise and kind, she was very proud of her children.
Regina loved taking care of her family, she will be remembered as a selfless wife, mother, daughter, and sister who always had a smile; she had a quiet strength and was always graceful until God called her home.
Regina leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband, Rupert “Johnny” Venzen; 4 precious children she adored: son, Joshua Venzen; daughters, Kiyah, Kaitlyn, and Kristina Venzen; loving parents, Houston and Addie Wellington; and two wonderful brothers, Ricky and Darion Wellington; Mother-in-law, Beryl George-Venzen, Sister-in-laws: Deborah Venzen, Jacqueline Venzen, and Lydia Venzen-Morris, Denise Venzen; Brother-in-law, Alston Venzen; Special nephew, Alston Venzen, Jr.; Aunts, Louise Wade, Quennie V.
