Polly Anna Clark Johnson was born on December 13, 1953 and was the youngest child of Mary Samella Miles Clark and Jesse Ransom, whom preceded her in death.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mildred Banks, Irma Alexander, Marcie Turner and Bruce Clark; and daughter, Tammy Johnson.

She received her education in the public school system of Rutherford County Tennessee and Lincoln, Delaware.

She married Charles Johnson and moved to Lincoln, Deleware.  To this union, two children were born, Tammy and Bernard Johnson.

She joined Smyrna Baptist Church where she was known for her singing, Jesus Is Alive and Well.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Charles Bernard Johnson; grandsons, Davonte Deshon Johnson and C.J. Johnson, III; granddaughters, Jessica, Ashley and Brittany Johnson; sisters, Marion Appleton, Brenda Robinson and Sophia Clark; brother, Casey (Joyce) Clark; devoted friends, Betty Parish, Joan Davis, Tina Stroble, Coretta Hall, Elaine Nelson, Cindy Shankin, Denna Sweater, Larry Lee; a very special devoted great niece, TaNautika Lewis; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and friends.

A special thanks to her Pastor, J.W. Rankins and First Lady Hattie Rankins.
