Mildred Odessa Hayes was born March 12, 1963 to Charles (Charlie) Hayes and Barbara Jean Turner in Pennsylvania.

Mildred accepted Christ at an early age. She was educated at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, TN.  She worked at Saint Thomas Rutherford for several years as a housekeeper until her health failed her.   She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, fishing and attending horse show celebrations.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charlie Hayes and Barbra Jean Turner; beloved brother, Charles (Chucky) Hayes; grandmothers, Mildred Greer and Johnnie Ray Rhodes; grandfathers, Fred Greer Sr. and Felix Hayes; uncles, Hugh Greer and Fred Greer Jr.; aunt, Earline Sneed Allen; and stepmother, Marcia Hayes.

Mildred is survived by daughter Kristen Hayes; sons, Charles (George) Hayes and Larry (Quin) Smith; grandchildren, Journey Smith, Vakari Childress, Jamin Witherspon and Jordan Witherspon; sisters, Bionca Hayes and Latoya Dunnaway; brother, Darren Hayes; aunt, Sara (Mike) Campbell; uncles, Charles Greer and Frank Greer; beloved cousins, Dean Allen, Pam Greer and Mary Terrell.
