Mary Yvonne Bivens age 72, was born on July 7, 1945 in Wartrace, TN. She went home to be with our Lord and Savior on May 7, 2018 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital after a short illness.

She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended East Cedar Street until they moved to Bird Street. She was a faithful member until she became ill.

She worked at Model Sportswear for 15 years and Calsonic for 22 years where she retired in 2006. She enjoyed life, family and friends. She especially loved her Lays plain potato chips, Coca-Cola and word puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Wells and Lorene Richardson; one brother, Ray Wells; and only sister, Teresa McClain.

Mary will be sadly missed by her only daughter, Ronetta (James) Wilson of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Terrence (Latasha) Bivens of Shelbyville, TN; four brothers, Ron (Dora) Wells of Murfreesboro, TN, Richard (Manila) Wells, Randy (Gail) Wells and Russell (Tonya) Wells all of Shelbyville, TN; one brother-in-law, Clifford McClain, Jr. of Shelbyville, TN; one great-granddaughter, Amyiah Kenney; adopted grandson, Christopher Rippy, of Shelbyville, TN; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special group of ladies, June Taylor, Martha Anderson, Sammie Johnson and Elaine Johnson.
