Margaret Blakemore-Fuller, daughter of the late Briggs Blakemore, Sr. and Davella Bryant-Blakemore, was born in Gary, Indiana on May 30, 1937
Margaret Blakemore-Fuller is preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Fuller, Jr.; sister Subella Blakemore Rumph; brothers, Briggs Blakemore, Jr., James Blakemore, Sr. Jackie Blakemore and Newell Blakemore; and brothers-in-law, Elder Theodis Rumph and Leonard Scott.
Margaret Blakemore-Fuller was united in Holy Wedlock to Richard B. Fuller, Jr. on January 25, 1959. To this union, two children were born, Richard B. Fuller, III and Joycelyn Fuller-Gray.
She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Galilee Baptist Church. Until her death, she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee under the leadership of Pastor James M. McCarroll.
Margaret was a retiree from the Gary Community School as a Cafeteria Manager at Kennedy-King Middle School with 28 years of service. She also served as a School Crossing Guard for Murfreesboro, Tennessee City Schools.
To cherish her memory, she leaves a devoted and loving son, Richard B. Fuller, III of Murfreesboro, TN; devoted and loving daughter, Joycelyn D. (Lewis) Gray of Murfreesboro, TN; twin brother, Maurice (Shirley) Blakemore of Gary, IN; Mary Scott of Ypsilanti, MI; two sisters-in-law, Katie Blakemore of Gary, IN and Marie Blakemore of Gary, IN; and other loving relatives and friends.
