Mrs. Lillie W. McCrary was born June 3, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Erskine Wade and Annie Liza Beard Harris.

She attended the Bedford County School System. She was a retired Environmental Service Worker at the Rutherford Hospital and also worked many years at the Pillsbury Company and the Rutherford County School System.

Lillie was married to the late Joe Franklin Ellis and after his death she was blessed to be married to the late James W. McCrary.

Lillie came to the Lord at an early age. She was a faithful member of the Bradyville Road Church of Christ. She loved her church and her family. Lillie enjoyed having dinners and socializing with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Erskine Wade and Annie Liza Beard Harris; sisters, Mary T. Lyons, Mammie Johnson and Tennie Mai Wade; and brothers, Erskine Wade Jr., L.R. Wade, Oliver Wade, Johnny Wade, Willie Davis “Dave” Wade,  Yeargin Wade and John Henry Harris Jr.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memories, children, Mattie (John) Elliott of Bloomington, IL, Eassie (Kenneth) Elder, Joe Ellis and Diane (Tim) Overton of Murfreesboro, TN; one step-daughter, Carmen Frazier; five grandchildren, Larry (Laura) Osborne, Alecia (Samuel) Lyons, Temicka Osborne, Tyrone Fletcher and Janina (Reynaldo) Hill; 16 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; devoted sister-in-law, Linda Wade; devoted niece, Ida McKnight; devoted friend, Sue Duke; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
