Janie Mae Frazier was born December 10, 1933 in Rutherford County to Johnny and Lucille Harris. She transitioned from this earthly life at the age of 88 to eternal life on March 28, 2022.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Silver Springs Missionary Baptist Church under Reverend McKinley. She has faithfully served under Pastor Roberson, Pastor Pope and Pastor Jones.

Janie worked for Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home for many years as a custodian. She loved gospel music, singing, cooking and housekeeping.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Lucille Harris; brothers, Buh, Cecil, Jim, Hollis and Richard Harris; sisters, Sarah, Mary and Amy.

She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Will “Bud” Harris; great niece, Sharicka Martin; along with a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
