Gladys M. Chunn Jones was born on January 18, 1926 to the late Janie Blankenship and Walter Chunn.  She passed away on June 12, 2017 at the age of 91. Sis. Jones was a member of Jefferson Pike Church of Christ for many years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and visiting the sick and shut-in every week.

Gladys Jones was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, George Corky Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Judy Jones; sisters, Hattie Chunn Thompson, Johnnie Chunn and Gloria Chunn; brother, William (Annette) Chunn; granddaughters, Valencia (Michael) Harding; great grandchildren, Arieanna and Michael Harding, Jr.; devoted nieces, Amanda and Hattie McCord, Idella Baldwin, Jeanice McCord, Michelle Chunn; devoted nephews, Kenneth Chunn, Rodney Thompson, John Dismukes and Curtis McCord; devoted friends, Rosa and Buck Darden; and a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
