Carmella Lynn Utley was born on June 14, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan. She passed away at the age of 69.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Clyde and Marion Utley; son, BJ; sister, Constance Allen; devoted niece, and Toia Allen.

Her daughters, Jovonna (Jamaal) Blackman and Rekeya (Derrick) Williams, are left to cherish her memory; sisters, Joyce Smith (Michigan), Verneda (Timothy) Byron, Raeanne Day (Canada), Deborah (Judyer) Kittrell and Valerie Cave; grandchildren, Hannah Wade, Jerimah Blackman, James Smartt, Jr., Ariah and Rylee Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends

The Utley family extends their gratitude to everyone for their prayers, flowers, phone calls and kindness during this time.
Carmella accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age at Mt. View Church of Christ.
