Brenda Lynn Patterson Coure began her life September 15, 1957, in Franklin, TN. She was born to the late Thomas James Patterson Jr. and Betty Katheryne Scruggs Patterson. Brenda attended Franklin High School then went on to attend Austin Peay State University and University of Tennessee Martin. After graduation, Brenda would go on to work for the State of Tennessee and The Metro Nashville Public School System.

In 1988, Brenda met William (Bubba) Coure and the two were joined in holy matrimony. William being a fervent minister of the gospel, Brenda then became a preacher’s wife and bible schoolteacher. Brenda would follow William wherever he may go to spread the good news to all man. Brenda having accepted Christ at the early age of 10 continued in the gospel until her death.

Brenda was proceeded in death by her parents. Brenda leaves behind, Her Husband, William and Daughter, Tiffany; Daughters by Love, Mary Ella Coure-Sweat, Sherron (John) Hughes and Valeria Coure; Brothers, James (Noemi) Patterson and Timmy Patterson; Sisters, Barbara Patterson-Brown, Stephanie Patterson, Penny Patterson and Renee Patterson; Sister in law, Ann (Kenneth) Fleming; Brother in law, Thomas Coure Jr.; A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends; and Devoted Family Friend, Katherine Dobson.
