Mrs. Annie Catherine Garner’s Video

Annie Catherine (Kate) Garner was born on September 14, 1921, in Bell Buckle, Tennessee to the late Argie Phillips who died weeks after her birth, and the late George Mosley. She transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Annie Catherine, during her teens and adulthood, worked as a housekeeper for several families in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. Later in life, she worked and retired from Webb School as a cook.

Annie Catherine married Sam Henry Marlin and with that union, she had ten children. Later in life, she married Robert Spence Garner and with that union, she had two children.

Sam Henry and Robert Spence, both preceded her in death. Annie Catherine was also preceded in death by her children, Mary Catherine, Baby girl (no name), James Lee, Charles Henry Marlin and Robert Wayne Garner.

She leaves to cherish in her memory the following children, Marie Smith, Margaret Ervin, Annie Bailey, Glenola Bowen, Gail Francis, Karl Marlin and Donel Garner; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
