Annie Bell Sims Hampton was born November 16, 1941 to the late Sarah and Wess Sims in Bedford Co., TN.  She left this earthly life on March 7, 2018 in Shelbyville, TN.  She will be greatly missed by many.

Annie Bell was educated in the Bedford CO. school system and received her diploma from the American School at Chicago, IL in 1976.  She was baptized into Christ at South Hill Church of Christ in Nashville, TN where she served for many years. Later she relocated and became a faithful member at Old Jefferson Pike Church of Christ in Smyrna, TN until moving to Shelbyville where she placed her membership at Bird Street Church of Christ.  She served on the exhortation team, faithfully encouraging others until failing health overtook her.  While on the exhortation team her specialty was making homemade ice cream and brownies to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries.  Annie Bell married her husband, George E. Hampton on April 10, 1986.  She retired from Murci Homes in 2009.  She loved music, entertaining family and friends but most of all, she loved to cook.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
