Amanda Sanders was born April 16, 1916 in Woodbury, TN to the late Lebon Alexander and Delilah Vernon Alexander and she departed this life on June 15, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Frank Sanders; son, Paul Alexander; Sister Hattie Adams; and brother, Lester Alexander, Sr.

Amanda Sanders leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Margaret A. Owens; Joe L. (Genola) Sanders, and Jimmie L. (Mary) Sanders, all of Woodbury, TN; one daughter-in-law, Virginia Alexander of Murfreesboro, TN; seven grandchildren, Rita Groomes of Murfreesboro, TN, Amanda Joy (Sam) Bryant of Elliott City, MD, Gina Greenlee of Antioch, TN, Gwen (Robert) Frazier of Woodbury, TN, Joey Sanders of Murfreesboro, TN, Kenny Sanders of Woodbury, TN and Courtney Sanders of Woodbury, TN; four great grandchildren, Antonio Frazier of Hampton, VA, Gennica Greenlee of Chattanooga, TN, Joshua Bryant of Elliott City, MD and Shane Groomes of Murfreesboro, TN; two nieces, Wordna (Henry) McKnight of Murfreesboro, TN and Teresa Alexander of Nashville, TN; and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
