Mrs. Aliene Ross Akins was born on July 17, 1935.  At age 81, she passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Boulevard Terrace in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by two sons and one grandchild.

Mrs. Akins is survived by her husband, Robert “Honeybun” Akins; six sons, Daniel (Bernice) Akins, Nathaniel (Danielle) Akins, Carl Akins, Thomas (Kim) Akins, Anthony Akins and Alvin Akins; seven grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Janice, Darian, Darrell, LaRon, Tea and C.J.; three great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends
