The late Vincent Todd (VT) Taylor was born on August 25^th, 1964, in LaVergne, Tennessee.  He was the oldest of four children born to James Henry Taylor and Patricia Ann Taylor.  He was educated in the public schools in Nashville, Tennessee and Gadsden, Alabama.  At a very early age, he confessed a hope in Christ and united with the Union Baptist Church in Gadsden, Alabama.

He departed this life, Monday, December 5th, 2022, at 8:05 pm, peacefully at his sister’s home in Smyrna, Tennessee. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Patricia Taylor, father, James Taylor, grandparents Herbert and Pauline Douthard, Jr and Charles Sr. and Elvira Taylor, brothers, Melvin Taylor and McKinley Woods, Uncles and Aunts, Charles Douthard Sr., Linda Douthard, Jimmy (Bernice) Douthard, Theodora Boyd, Herbert Douthard, III, Charles Taylor, Jr., Thelma Franklin, and a great-niece Charlize E. Payne

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kim Taylor, Nashville, Tennessee.  Brother, James Robert (Tonya) Taylor, Gadsden, Alabama.  Sisters, Latonja (Enise) Smith, Hampton, Georgia; Paula Freeman, Smyrna, Tennessee; LaTonia (Ralph) Edwards, Nashville, Tennessee; Stephanie (Jimmy) Lackey, Georgia; Marquenta Rucker, Nashville, Tennessee; Tim Henry Taylor, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Brother-in-law, Douglas (Annette) Stephens, Gadsden, Alabama.
