Robert Patterson, age 75, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 after a long battle with COVID-19. Robert was born February 24, 1947 to Frank R. and Millie Patterson in Murfreesboro, TN. Robert was married to the late Patsy JoAnn Patterson. To this union, two children were born, Detra Simpson and Tywania Patterson. Robert would later marry Frances Patterson in which one child was born, Renee Patterson Leftwich. Due to an unfortunate dissolve of the marriage, Robert later met Dianna Bryson in which two children were born, Robert and Lizzy Bryson.

Robert, after graduating from Holloway High School, went on to work in construction until he retired from Wright & Lopez Construction Company. Robert was a private and quiet man who enjoyed spending time with his family. You would often find Robert watching his favorite old Western movies. Robert also enjoyed watching football and his favorite team was the Tennessee Titans.

Robert was preceded in death by his daughters, Lizzy Bryson and Tywania Patterson, and a sister, Mattie Harris.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories his two daughters, Detra (Tim) Simpson of Antioch, TN and Renee Patterson Leftwich of Charlottesville, VA; one son, Robert Bryson (Donna) of Halifax, PA; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; sister, Lola Harris; brother Frank Patterson (Rhoda); special friend, Forrestine Hardy of Murfreesboro, TN, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
