Marcel Wallace was the youngest of three siblings born to the union of Lloyd and Annie Wallace on June 2, 1972, in St. Louis, Missouri.
He attended Carver Elementary, Williams Middle School, and Hazelwood East High School. During his younger years he was a member of the Boy Scouts in which he learned a lot about structure and discipline.
After his tenure in school, he diligently worked to help build the family business, TCB Package Liquor. He enjoyed working with customers at the family store as well as finding creative ways to make extra money on the side by selling odds and ends the store didn’t sell. Later, he pursued a career at Wonder Bread where he was a distinguished driver that serviced various vendors and was well-known amongst routes for making everyone smile.
Marcel was very humorous and often found ways to slip in a joke out of nowhere, making people pause, laugh, and then ask themselves, did he just say that? He worked hard at everything he did and was very generous always helping others in need. His hard work ultimately paid off when he accomplished one of America’s biggest dreams in purchasing his own home along with his dream vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade EXT. He also was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, and you could not tell him anything wrong about his team!
For many years Marcel struggled with health issues, at times he felt misunderstood and wronged, but he never gave up until it was his assigned time to take his rest. Marcel was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Wallace and mother, Annie Wallace Bell.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: Sisters and Brother, Lynne Wallace of St. Louis, Missouri; Laureen Wallace of Murfreesboro, TN; Quinn Wallace of Los Angeles, CA; Nieces and Nephews, Ciera Howard, Frederick Michael Eason Jr., Mikala Eason, Kenneth Williams, Kaylyn Williams; Aunts, Sharon James (Edward), Brenda Yancey, Darlene Smith, Althea Taylor (Anthony), Susan Wallace, Wanda Green, Christine Brownlee, Deborah Mitchell; Uncles, Maurice Wallace Jr (Denise), James Phillips (Naomi), George Phillips, Jeff Burch Jr (Jackie); and a host of cousins, and friends
