Lloyd G. Smith was born on June 29, 1952 to the late Clyde and Mable Smith. He departed this life on April 21, 2014.

Along with his father and mother, he was preceded in death by one son, Shawn Scott, brothers, Mitchell, Roy Clyde, Wilbert, and Vernon Smith and sisters, Frances Ingram and Zell Smith.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memory brothers, Samuel (Emma) Smith of Gary, IN, Willie (Ruby) Smith of Chicago, IL, Jimmie Smith of Jacksonville, NC and Darrel Springfield of Nashville, TN; sisters, Joann and Joyce Smith, both of Shelbyville, TN; aunts, Ruth Stevenson of Shelbyville, TN and Mildred Storey of Nashville, TN; uncle, Gilbert Smith of Nashville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
