Lionel “Lonnie” Fulwood was born January 20, 1960 to the late Mr. Isaac Fulwood, Jr., and Mrs. Carrie Dell Montgomery Fulwood. He departed this earthly life on September 17, 2015 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.

He graduated from Parkdale High School in Maryland in 1979. He later moved to Tennessee in 1999 and worked at Calsonic for a number of years. He was married to Sharon McCroskey Fulwood for 14 years. He was loving, caring and a gentleman to his wife and many others.

He accepted Christ in his life at Great Mount Calvary Holy Church Washington, D.C. and then changed his membership to Sevier Street First Baptist Church.

He truly enjoyed life and loved his wife, family, and children and was a diehard Washington Redskins fan. He loved gospel music and he was a gifted and talented drummer.

Lionel leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife Sharon Fulwood; three daughters, Sherese Moton, Laurell Perez and LaTasha Boswell; one son Tim Spriggs; Goddaughter Nicole Starks; step-son Taurian (Tiffany) Darden; two sisters, Gloria McDonald of SC and Wanda Fulwood of Maryland; one brother Isaac L. (Darlene) Fulwood of Maryland; mother-in-law Shirley (Anthony) Buchanan; father-in-law Joe (Venus) Sneed; three sisters-in-law, Tammy (Leroy), Christy (Spencer) Threat and Patrice (Gregory) Davis; six brothers-in-law, Marion Sneed of CA, Julian Zaher of Germany, Maurice Ballace of CO, Adam Sneed of LA, Julian Sneed of TN, and Derick Sneed of CA; one aunt Lillie Mae (Elton) China; one uncle Holly (Mary) Montgomery of South Carolina; two nieces, Tikeya (David) Wright and Dawn Fulwood; two nephews, Kendrick (Charnell) McDonald and Isaac Fulwood; godparents Geraldine (Neal) Sanders; devoted friend George Chatman; many grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.
