Mr. Lydell Curtis Beverley was the second son born January 25, 1976 at Ft. Benning, Georgia to Robert Nathaniel and the late Barbree Wilson Beverley and he departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN surrounded by family and friends.

Lydell’s father was a military man and they lived all over the world, but they came to Murfreesboro, TN in 1988 and that is where they ultimately made their home.  In Murfreesboro he attended Oakland High School his junior year and then traveled with his dad to St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands where he graduated from Manor High School on May 25, 1994.  He then returned to the United States where he furthered his education at Middle Tennessee State University.  He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix on June 13, 2011

Lydell was an avid runner and he loved to watch movies.  It was the love of these two things that caused him to cross paths and start a beautiful courtship with Jelecia Jamerson who became Jelecia Beverley when they were wed on July 1, 2000.  This union was blessed with one beautiful and exceptionally smart son, Xavier Lydell Beverley who was born on April 1, 2011.

Lydell was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.  He was a hard worker who made sure that his family was always provided for.  He used his knowledge and skill in his successful career as an IT Technician at Verizon where he worked until his health prevented him from attending.  He was a great problem solver who was dedicated to his work.

Lydell was a Christ worshipper and attended Lake Providence Baptist Church in Nolensville, TN where he attended faithfully until his health prevented him from doing so.

Lydell was preceded in death by his mother, Barbaree Wilson Beverley; grandparents, James Howard and Clarissa Beverley, Ernest and Ruth Wilson; uncles Alvin Beverley, and Earl Robison; and aunt Sandra Wilson
