Larry Nelson Davis was born on May 15, 1959 in Shelbyville, TN and departed this life on January 6, 2022. 

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Charles Andrew Davis Sr. and mother, Maggie Dean Johnson Davis; brother, Ronald Wayne Davis; and sister, Carmen Deloris Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Brenda Porter Davis Hodge and Vickey Lee Davis; brothers, Barry (Latisha) Davis of Shelbyville, TN and Donald (Susan) Davis of Fort Worth, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Larry, fondly known as Nelson was a loving, gentle friend to all he met. Anything that Nelson had, he freely gave to anyone in need. He was not a person of flash nor did he demand attention, but he was always the life of the party. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He had a way of making those around him feel welcomed, something he undoubtedly learned from his mother. Nelson never claimed to be a perfect person, but he was the perfect son, brother, and friend to all who knew him. Life was never dull to anyone that got the chance to meet him or be a part of his life. To say that he will be missed is a huge understatement. After knowing Nelson, your life can never be the same nor should it be. Keep a smile on your face and love life.
