Mr. John Willie Ransom, Sr., age 84, passed away Wednesday, August 28th. He is survived by his wife, Ora Jean Ransom; children, James (Carolyn) Buchanan, Charles (Natalie) Buchanan, Ruby (Larry) Knox, Dorothy Sutton, Betty (Jerry) Esmond, Barbara Ransom, John (Vanessa) Ransom, Jr., Jesse (Vickie) Ransom, O’Neal (Regina) Ransom, George (Melissa) Ransom, Richard Ransom and Denise (Robert) Kelso; sisters, Mary (Clay) Knox, Anna Ransom and Ola Benford; one brother, Joe (Evette) Ransom; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
