Jerry Wayne Holman was born on September 22, 1970 in Marshall County. He was the son of Roy and Therissa Holman. On Monday November 18, 2019 he answered his call and closed his eyes for the last time.

Jerry professed his love for Christ at an early age and worshipped at the Eastside Church of Christ in Petersburg where his father was the minister. In 1999-2010 Jerry ministered at the Cummins Street Church of Christ in Franklin, TN. From 2010 to 2018 he preached all over the brotherhood, spreading the gospel and bringing souls to Christ. In 2019 Jerry became the minister of North Hill Church of Christ in Pulaski, TN where he preached his last sermon on Sunday November 17,2019.

Jerry worked as a big rig truck driver for many years. He was the owner and operator of Big J’s Fish House. He was well known for his famous fish sandwiches.

Jerry loved his family dearly. He thought his baby girl Ariyan could do no wrong regardless of what she did. She was always perfect in his eyes.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Roy and Therissa Holman; daughter, Ariyan Holman of Lewisburg, TN; brothers, Johnny Holman and James Holman both of Lewisburg, TN and Jimmy (Priscilla) Holman of Sugarland, TX. He also leaves to cherish his memory many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
