James (Jimmy) Yeargin Sr. was born May 24, 1951 and passed April 25, 2020 at Trevecca Center for Rehab and Healing. 

He was a graduate of Pearl High School in Davidson County.  He played several sports and coached youth sports as he continued to be involved as his playing days came to an end.  He worked at Vanderbilt Hospital, Southern Hills, and many other medical clinics.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Yeargin, Jr.

Jimmy is survived by his sons, James (Connie) Yeargin, Jr. and Jermaine (Felicia) Yeargin; mother, Willie P. Yeargin; brother,  Jerry “Skip” Yeargin, III; sisters, Patricia Yeargin and Millicent (Henry) Debarros; grandchildren, Braden, Brielle and Jordyn Yeargin; one nephew, Jerry “JW” Yeargin; cousins, other family members and friends.
