James Arthur Hill, Jr., aka “Rooster”, was born April 5, 1958 in Shelbyville, TN to the late James Sr. and Mattie Hill.  He departed this life on November 23, 2015.  He professed a life in Christ and was a member of Galilee Primitive Baptist Church where he loved singing in the choir.

 James received his education at Shelbyville Central High School and catered for twenty years.

James leaves to cherish his loving memories, sisters Rhonda (Genaro) Rico, Brenda (Jeff) Allison, Regina (Chris) Hughes, Janie Hill and Myron Hill, all of Shelbyville, TN, Dorothy Fisher of Detroit MI and Mattie Hill of Nashville, TN; one aunt Emma Smith; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend Terry Coonce
