James Quinton Batten Cantrell was born April 17, 1983 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to his mother Revonda Batten and father Jimmy Cantrell.  He departed this life on November 26, 2016 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  He attended Mitchell Neilson Elementary School, Riverdale High School and later received his GED.

Quinton professed his hope in Christ at an early age.  He was baptized in the Oakland Park Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Batten, Sr.; grandfather, Victor Cantrell, Sr.; grandmother, Minnie Cantrell; and brother, Steven Woods.

Quinton leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Revonda Batten; father, Jimmy Cantrell; four sisters, Stephanie Echagile, Jamese Waters, Alexis Waters and Demetria Batten; one brother, Matthew Harris; grandmother, Vergie M. Batten; four nieces, Nevaeh Martin, Ariah Cantrell, Janiah Waters and Eghosa Echagile; two nephews, Immanuel Wade and Dion Wilson Brown; devoted friend, Alexis Woods; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.
