Ivan Alexy Adames Jimenez, 45, of Murfreesboro, TN transitioned from this life on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Born on June 24^th, 1973 to parents Rafael Familia Jimenez and Maxima Adames Jimenez, Ivan had always been confident and fearless. He was born in New York City, New York. He accepted Christ at Immaculate Conception Church and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Academy in Jamaica, Queens New York. Ivan moved to Columbia, Tennessee with his parents and siblings at the age of (16) sixteen. He attended Columbia Central High School where he flourished as a football athlete.

Ivan had a big heart. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed cooking and watching sports. His favorite team is the Oakland Raiders and favorite athlete is Lebron James. His life was his kids and grandkids. He loved watching them play sports, took them swimming, taught them how to speak Spanish and spoiled them whenever possible.

Ivan Jimenez leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted life partner, Theresa Gilbert; six children, Ze’Aneia, Blake, Romante, Devante, Gabriela (Gabby) and Karleah; nine grandchildren, Kacetin, Daniel, Ava, Jayce, Liam, Kali Rose, Kaeden, Abraylon and Kyler; two brothers, David and Junior; a sister, Sandra; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Forever in our hearts.
