Mr. Howard McCroskey entered this life on June 27, 1941, in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, to the late Willie McCroskey and Jodie Frazier.  He left this earthly life on Monday January 9, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Howard entered the Army at an early age where he was the cook and after serving two years, he entered into the National Guard.  Howard was a man who loved fishing, listening to music and watching westerns, but his biggest passion was just being outside. Howard was a member of Bird Street Church of Christ.  He was employed with Housing Authority, Atmos Energy and Kroger.

Howard was proceeded in death by his wife, Sara McCroskey.

Howard leaves to cherish his memories, son, Michael (Keri) Hardin; special nephews, Landon and Kasen; a devoted companion, Dora Bonner; caretaker, Tameka Buckingham; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
