George Edward Albert, Sr.’s Slideshow

George Edward “Boot” Albert, Sr., was born on July 27, 1944, in Henry County, Georgia, to the late Malachi Tero Albert and Cora Irene (Walker) Albert. George transitioned this life on September 13, 2023 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. He is preceded in death by a brother, Willie (Ham) Albert and sisters, Carrie Lee Grier and Pearl Albert.

He received his education in the Henry County School System and served in the U.S. Army. He had many jobs but the best one was serving God.

George was truly one of a kind and loved God above all things. He was a devoted man of God. He had faith and didn’t deviate from the Word. He was a member of Galilee Primitive Baptist Church.

Besides his love for God, he loved his family, a clean car and mowing the yard (every Thursday so it would look good for the weekend). He also enjoyed sitting on the back porch communicating with the Lord, listening to music, watching nature and trying to keep the moles out of the yard.

George is survived by his wife of 38 years, Reva Angie Albert, sons, George E. Albert, Jr. (Marissa); Eddie Tero Albert (Lateshia); Darrin Albert; Jeffrey Albert; Tyrone Rippy; Jamison Rippy; daughter, Denita Albert-Wade; 27 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; brother Edward (Eddie) Albert; sisters-in-law, Gwen Rippy, Jessica Rippy, and Bryce (Eddie) Holton; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
