Mr. Colia Louis Streeter was born October 31, 1925 to the late Ludie and Colia Streeter, Sr. He departed this life on June 3, 2014 at Glenn Oaks facility.

He spent a lot of his time working with horses and at an early age, he worked on the railroad to support his family. Colia Streeter was also preceded in death by children, Candace Lee, Cedric Streeter and Lynn “Lucky” Scott.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 26 years, Marsha Streeter of Shelbyville, TN; sons, James (Patricia) Marsh of Lewisburg, TN, Richard Streeter of Shelbyville, TN, Steven (Christie Hill) Streeter of Shelbyville, TN; John (Carolyn) Streeter of Shelbyville, TN and Christopher Streeter of Shelbyville, TN; daughters, Deborah Sutton of Nashville, TN, Shirley Singleton of Shelbyville, TN and Deborah Streeter of Shelbyville, TN; sister Elizabeth Streeter of Shelbyville, TN; brother-in-law Jesse Frank Harris; his loving sisters-in-law, Mary Frazier, Brenda Medearies and Margaret Broady; devoted nieces, Linda Edwards and Jackie Jackson; 20 grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; multiple great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
