Mia Katral Davidson was born on December 2, 1967 in Detroit, MI to James & Caster Davidson.

As a child, Mia enjoyed spending time with her siblings, having fun, and being mischievous. She loved jump roping, playing jacks, and racing on the sidewalk with her grandfather Caspan. As an adult, Mia loved traveling, going on cruises, and hanging out on the beach.

Mia graduated from Henry Ford High School in Detroit, MI in 1985. Although Mia loved the city of Detroit, she later moved to Columbia, TN where she was able to purchase her own home made herself a positive figure in the city of Columbia. She became an active member of Carmack Boulevard Church of Christ where she remained a faithful member until her death.

Mia’s love for people ultimately led her to pursue a career in nursing. She worked as a nurse in several positions including inpatient sitter, nursing homes, and Centennial Hospital. Her passion and devotion to her patients led her to become a travel nurse in March 2021. Her coworkers and patients adored her and say that she will truly be missed.

Mia was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Robert and Loraine Davidson and her maternal grandparents Caspan and Eddie Mae Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents James and Caster Davidson; one daughter, Ashley Booker; two brothers, James Davidson II of Detroit, MI and Anthony (Loretta) Davidson of Mt. Pleasant, TN; four sisters, Timiki (Ronald) Davis-Bey of Murfreesboro, TN, Cynthia (Michael) Norwood of Columbia, TN, Crystal (Anthony Sr.) Walker of Detroit, MI and Chiquila Gissentanner of Dallas, TX; three nieces LaToya, Nyah and Janae’; six nephews, James III,  Michael, Ronald Jr, Zavier, Walter, Anthony Jr. (Danika) and Aaron; one great niece, Aubrey; one great nephew, Apollo; her special friend, Zachary “Dino” Gilbert; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
