Mary Belle was born April 12, 1951, to the parents of John Wesley, Jr. and Nora Swader. Mae Belle, as she was affectionally called, accepted her Lord and Savior at an early age. She transitioned from this earthly home on November 19, 2025, at her son’s residence.

Mae Belle was educated in Rutherford County School System (Little Bethel). After many years of employment, she retired from the Tennessee Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, music and her soap operas. Her greatest joy in life was raising her two sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Robert Henry Swader.

Mary Belle leaves to cherish her memory, two loving and devoted sons, Jimmy Lee (Samantha) Brown and Ricky L. Brown, both of Murfreesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Tyquarius, Serenity and Kamya Brown; one brother, Charles (Dorothy) Swader of Walter Hill; four sisters, Mattie L. Swader of Smyrna, TN, Georgia Collier, Martha (Robert) Gooch and her loving and devoted baby sister, Tabatha Swader, whom provided exceptional care for her sister, all of Murfreesboro, TN; one uncle, Gentry Lee Swader; thirteen nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and dear friends, Shirley Elder and Lucy Brown
