Willie Mae Beasley was born on July 14, 1939, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the late Jake Albert Young and Ida Mae Young. She departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at her home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Willie Mae was happily married to the late Clarence C. Beasley for forty-six years. To this union, three children were born: Clarence Beasley Jr., David E. Beasley, and Sunji Michelle Strong.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake Albert Young and Ida Mae Young; her beloved husband, Clarence C. Beasley; and her brothers, Cleveland Young, Lazar Young, Horace Young, and Charles Young.
Mae was a woman who loved the Lord. She faithfully served Him until her health began to decline. She loved traveling with the church, fellowshipping with others, and serving wherever she was needed. Each year, she faithfully served at the Homecoming Celebration in Silver Point, Tennessee.
Mae attended Bradyville Road Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She loved the Lord, her husband until his passing, and her family dearly. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, service, love, and devotion.
Her memory will be cherished by her devoted children, Michelle Strong, David Beasley, and Clarence Beasley Jr.; her sisters, Joyce Wharton and Viola Saxson; her sister-in-law, Geraldine Tibbs; her grandchildren, Justin, Jasmine, Amanda, Shifra, Mystique, and Marcus; her great-grandchildren, Abigail Randolph, Enzo Ashley, Oliver Bartha, and Shiloh Bartha; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.
