On April, 22nd 2016, God and his band of angels opened their arms and welcomed our dearest Lanyah Kelexis Chantale’ Turner-Kelly into the gates of heaven.

February, 4th 2007, Lanyah burst into our heart at 1lb. 13oz., 3 and half months early. We knew then that Lanyah had a very special role to play in the life of her Mother Kirsheika Tuner & Father Bobby Eugene Kelly.

Lanyah was preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather Joe Kirkland Turner, Paternal Grandfather Bobby Watkins, Uncle Jamar Williams, Uncle Bobby Miller, Uncle Joseph “JoJo” Freeman and infant Sister Meona Turner.

Lanyah affectionately known as “NiNi” was a student in the 3rd grade at Blackfox Elementary School; where she didn’t allow her disabilities to slow her down one bit. She excelled far beyond what was predicted by Doctors and faced every challenge head-on!

NiNi’s Sweet, Sassy & Spontaneous personality was one in a million. She most enjoyed quality time with her siblings and cousins; getting into as much mischief as they possibly could! She loved being a part of ALL the youth activities at her church, Gods House of Restoration (which she adored), to being front and center singing and dancing to songs like “hit the Quan, lean & dab and shake the foundation.” With a smile as big and bright as the sun NiNi’s presence was still felt long after she had left the room. NiNi’s outstanding skills in softball will be missed by her team and coaches of the Lady Eagles. NiNi’s memorial will be cherished forever by all the lives she impacted during her beautiful 9 years of life.

She leaves to cherish her memory Mother Kirsheika Turner, Father Bobby (LaToya) Kelly; Devoted Grandmother Sandrea Miller, Grandmother LaTonya Kelly; Devoted Great Grandparents Vivian Faye (Andrew “Pop”) Miller Sr., Anita (Benny) Lee; Devoted Great-Great Grandmother, Jean Newman, Great-Great Grandparents Nora Kelly and Milton Kelly; Siblings- Brothers, Bobby, Kirtavius and Quanterius Turner; Sisters Avi’yanah Kelly and Kaiyanna Turner; Devoted Auntie; Kirquitta Miller Aunties; Ashley Akridge and Kannethia Woods; Uncles, Deon Watkins, LaVonta and Marcus Kelly; Devoted Great Aunt and Uncle Andrew (Precita) Miller Jr. & Andrea (Robert) Patterson; Special Friends Dequasia Benford, Tyqueria Benford, Victoria Barlow, Marriah Barlow, AkyJah Hayes, D’Ziah Mayers and Cherish Freeman, Malachi Douglas, Kennedy Douglas and Jamarion Winston. Honorable Mention To: Lisa And Johnny Cheers, Ella Floyd, Sophia Freeman, Thomas Freeman Jr., James Wynn, Cuturia Freeman, Maneka Hayes, Ashley Ashford, Lemuel White, Bessie Reed, Jimmie Shannon (Duke), Gencie Newman, Mildred Spann (Lil Bit’), Karissa Walker, Cheryl Davis, Corey Lawrence and James Smith, along with a host of other Relatives, Church Family and Friends.
