 Karen Lorraine (Kay) Turner was born on August 8, 1965 to the late Gwendolyn (Marcie) Clark-Turner and Joe Frank (Bay) Turner, Jr.  She transitioned from this earthly life on June 9, 2017.

She received her education in the public school system of Rutherford County Tennessee. 

She professed her faith in Christ at an early age.

She worked at Ramada Inn for 10 plus years until her health failed.

Karen leaves to cherish her loving memories, a very devoted friend, Malcolm Allen; her four children, Rico Turner, Richard (Aaliyah) North, Ronta (Miosha) Turner and Shanta (Shawn) Turner all of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Joe Turner and Johnta Martin of Murfreesboro, TN; four sisters, Tawanna Turner, Rena (Darion) Turner of Murfreesboro, TN, Mikquana Hughes and Taleesha Turner of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Jordan Turner, Javiona, ReAndre North, Jaylen Maner and Ashanti Arnold; aunts, Marion (Eddie) Appleton of Smyrna, TN, Sophia Clark, Polly Johnson, Jocelyn Miller and Carolyn Turner all of Murfreesboro, TN; uncles, Casey Clark, Danny Turner, Ronald Turner all of Murfreesboro, TN and Eddie Sanders of Shelbyville, TN; devoted friends, Angela Smith, Thelma Malone and Willa Shay Alexander; along with a host of other family and friends.
