James E. Holman was born on November 21, 1961, in Marshall County to Roy David and Annie Therissa Holman. He departed this life on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

James professed his love for Christ at an early age and was active in the service while worshipping at the Eastside Church of Christ in Petersburg where his father was the minister.

James worked as a welder at Heil Quaker/IPC for many years. After the closure of Heil Quaker, he followed in his father’s footsteps and continued to serve the Marshall County area with their Plumbing, Heating, and home improvement needs. Through his business, he met and established many relationships where he used his unique personality leaving you feeling better.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, and trail riding.

James demonstrated his love for family and was the primary caregiver to his mother until his health began to fail. Many may not have understood his position when trying to engage with her at times, because he was very protective, looking after her best interests. He managed this with no complaints while running his business and performing daily duties on the farm.

James was preceded in death by his father Roy David Holman; brother Jerry Wayne Holman and nephew Jerron Paul Elliott.

Those who will lovingly cherish his memory are his mother Annie Therissa Holman; two brothers Johnny Holman of Lewisburg, TN and Jimmy (Priscilla) Holman of Sugar Land, TX; two nieces Ariyan Holman of Columbia, TN and Shayla Williams of Houston, TX. He also leaves to cherish his memory many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
