Hattie Chunn Thompson, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away at the age of 93. Born to the late Janie Blankenship Chunn and Walter Chunn. Hattie’s life was characterized by immense love, laughter, and a deep devotion to God and her family. She was known for her enduring passion for gospel music. Hattie cherished her siblings. She was married to Robert C. Thompson, Sr. and their legacy lives on through their devoted children: Robert Thompson, Jr. (Sharon), Amanda McCord (Curtis), Idella Baldwin (John), and Rodney Thompson. She is also survived by a host of cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
