Dreyton John William Sims was born on July 9, 2007 to Andre and Michelle Sims, in Smyrna, Tennessee. As a baby, he was always so loving by giving hugs, his special laugh, and just full of happiness. Dreyton always captured everyone with his beautiful smile and brown eyes. He made friends and touched many lives of people everywhere he went. Dreyton loved animals, fishing, motocross sports, video games, and especially his passion for football which made him so unique, and of course he was just “All Boy”. Dreyton loved being outdoors playing with his brothers, cousins, and friends. He brought so much joy to his family and friends. Dreyton played football for the junior pro leagues of Smyrna Bulldogs and Oakland.

Dreyton was always seen on the sidelines after all of his football games, cheering for his brother “TJ”, and the teams within his league. He often loved to be a special helper during his Uncle Rod and Grandfather’s games. He wanted to be a Defensive Back in the NFL. His favorite football teams were Alabama Crimson Tide and the Greenbay Packers. He also loved the University of Kentucky’s basketball team and would tell you they are going to win the NCAA Tournament every year. Dreyton attended school in Rutherford County, at Mitchell Nielson and in Bedford County, at Liberty Way.

 At the time of his transition from his time with his family and friends here to his time with God, he continued loving nothing more than spending time with his family. Dreyton will always be remembered for being so loving, happy, laughing, and always smiling.

Dreyton was preceded in death by his great grandparents John William (Bertie Mae) Ewing of Shelbyville, TN, Andrew Jack (Lucy Mae) Sims, Sr. of Shelbyville, TN and John (Joy) Carpenter of Shawnee, CO.
