Donna Lynn Leftwich was born on May 21, 1957, in Murfreesboro, TN to Ada Mae Leftwich and Hilliard B. Leftwich. She transitioned peacefully at her home on September 27, 2024, after an extended illness.

Donna was educated in the Rutherford County School System. After completing her schooling, she went on to work at Samsonite Furniture Co. for many years and a warehouse worker until her illness disabled her.

Donna was preceded in death by mother, Ada Mae Leftwich and father, Hillard B. Leftwich; sister, Sonja Rhodes; and niece Deidre Lynne Bailey.

She leaves to cherish her memory, very loving and devoted daughter, Asia Leftwich; brother, Frederick Smith; nieces, Jurita Rhodes, Ronique Bailey, Anesia and Corasia Smith; great nephew and great niece, Monte Rhodes and Jourian Summerour; and a host of other relatives and friends.
