The world was blessed with Clinton Cunningham on February 22, 1954 in Marks Mississippi, to the loving parents, Lucille and M.C. Cunningham, whom both preceded him in death. Clinton was the third sibling out of seven.

Clinton received his wings on February 15, 2026.

Clinton received his education at Zenos Colman Elementary School and Dusable High School.

Clinton was a devoted father, a loving grandfather and an awesome uncle. He was a selfless pillar of the family. A life saver who appears just when needed. His willingness to help without hesitation never goes unnoticed. He loved everyone and everyone loved Clinton.

Clinton relocated in 2004 to Shelbyville, Tennessee. While living in Shelbyville, he had worked many jobs: Tyson Food as a machine operator, Bedford Hospital as a Hospital Chef and Calsonic as a Janitor.

Clinton had a passion for cooking. He was a culinary artist, a food enthusiast and cooked with soul. His cakes would melt in your mouth and his greens and baked macaroni and cheese was cooked with love.

Clinton was preceded in death by his two sisters, Christine and Hazel Cunningham; four brothers, J.T., Jerry, Doug and Bennie Cunnigham; four nephews, Hason, Terrell, J.T. Jr., and Myjay Cunningham; two great nephews, Pierre Williams and Nissan Hill.

Clinton leaves to celebrate his life, daughters, Teaqulia Leslie, Tanithia Brown, Cynthia Leslie and Teamm’a Leslie; one son, Antwaun Cunningham; grandsons, Devonta Leslie, Christopher Brown, Antwaun Jr., Trevon, Antonio. Omarion, Tyqwaun Leslie, Markell Davis, QuinShaun McGee and Thiago Leslie; granddaughters, Corsica Leslie, Janiya Leslie, Anastasia, Dominique, Courtney, Tanjqanikwa Leslie, LaTavia Harris and Seriya Leslie; four great grandbabies, A’mourra Dyer, Naomi, Nosiah and Zacari; and his only true love, Gwen Nita.

Clinton is going to be truly missed by many.
