Celebration of Life
Clemencia Niyokindi entered eternal rest on October 12, 2025, at the age of 38. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend whose presence brought warmth, compassion, and joy to all who knew her.
Born in Mwirango, Kayanza, Burundi, Clemencia embodied strength, resilience, and generosity. She lived with an open heart, offering kindness freely and standing boldly for those she loved. Known for her honesty, quick wit, and steadfast spirit, she touched countless lives with her unwavering support and radiant smile.
She found peace in nature, cherished time with her children, Jeanique and Michael, and held her family close to her heart. A devoted reader and joyful traveler, she embraced stories, learning, and the beauty of discovery. Her spiritual life was profound; her conversations carried the unmistakable echo of her deep love for God.
Clemencia leaves to honor her memory her children, Joshua "Michael" Silvers and Jeanique Silvers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonia Gakobwa and Dominique Sunzuguru. She is survived by her step mother Glorioza Nahimana, siblings Ernest Niyonkuru, Fabiono Ndikumasabo, Christina Ndayishimiye,Louisa Sanzugwimo, Esperance Ndayizeye, Janualya Shimiyimana, Nadine Marie Sunzuguru , nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of loved ones who will continue to celebrate her life and the love she shared.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation for the prayers, comfort, and support offered during this time. May her spirit continue to guide, uplift, and remind us of the beauty she brought into this world.
