Brenda Dennison King was born on October 31, 1948, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to her mother Rosetta Dennison Holmes and stepfather Timothy Holms.
Brenda was educated in the public school system of St. Petersburg, Florida and graduated from Gibbs Senior High Scholl. She later continued her education at Thomason Adult Medical School. Brenda began her career as a laboratory technician at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg. She later moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee where she continued her work in the medical field at Vanderbilt Hospital, faithfully serving for 25 years until her retirement.
In 1967, Brenda was united in Holy Matrimony to Patrick King, with whom she shared a loving union until his passing.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons, Carlos King and Desmond King; her sisters, Helen Jones and Delores Walker; her grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who really love her dearly.
