Barry Bernard Greer was born on October 10, 1961 to his mother, Dorothy Greer, in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Barry left this earthly life on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Barry was a loving husband and father to his family. He worked at US Display for over 12 years. During his free time, he loved to grill, cook, go to family gatherings, loved to tell jokes and had a love for music.

Barry was preceded in death by his daughter, Shatika Greer; sister, Arlene Greer, brothers, Mitchell Greer and Anthony Greer; grandson, Malachi Greer; sister-in-law, Kathy Bailey; and brother-in-law, Kevin Taylor.

Barry is survived by his loving wife, Tamiatha Greer; mother, Dorothy Greer; four children, Dontavious Greer, Xavious Greer, Keenan Greer and Drew Greer; sister, Glendel Greer; brother, Donnell Greer; mother-in-law, Hazel Bailey; sister-in-law, Karen (Derrick) Goode; brothers-in-law, John Bailey, Jr. and William Smith; five grandchildren; good friend, Sandra Morales; and a host of other family members and friends.
